Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By texting the Settled maintenance line or submitting the opt-in form, you consent to receive SMS messages from Settled, operated by Sender Realty Inc., related to property maintenance.
Service Description
Settled is an AI-powered SMS maintenance triage service for residential rental properties, operated by Sender Realty Inc. Settled helps tenants report maintenance issues via text message and provides landlords with triaged, actionable summaries.
Opt-In & Consent
There are two ways tenants opt in to receive SMS messages from Settled:
- Web opt-in: Tenant visits https://www.trysettled.app/sms-consent, enters their name and phone number, and checks an unchecked consent checkbox agreeing to receive SMS messages.
- Landlord-initiated: Tenant receives the Settled SMS number from their landlord via lease agreement or welcome letter and initiates contact by texting the number, thereby providing consent.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of tenancy.
Opting Out
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.

Message frequency varies based on maintenance requests submitted. Message and data rates may apply.
SMS Delivery
Settled uses Twilio to deliver SMS messages.
Governing Law
